assigned to the Central Fire Station in Hilo and the Paradise Park Fire Station.

BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2015
Appropriates revenues in the State Grants - Little Fire Ant (LFA) Control -
Hawai‘i Invasive Species Council (HISC) account ($175,000); and appropriates
the same to the LFA Control - HISC account ($175,000). Funds would be used to
hire up to three employees and provide them with equipment and materials to
control the fire ant at Parks and Recreation Department facilities.

upgrade existing streetlights island-wide.

and other traffic related devices.

Adds the Public Works Painted Church Road Safety Improvements project for
$142,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for the project shall be provided from
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other
Sources ($142,000). Funds would be used to increase intersection site distance,
eliminate thru traffic stop signs, and relocate utilities.
