REQUEST: <br /> The Hawai'i Fire Department is requesting a resolution authorizing the payment of funds in a later year and <br /> for more than one fiscal year for a multi-year lease to purchase one (1) multi-function copier. The lease <br /> would be for a term of five (5) years. The copier will be assigned to the Fire Department Administration <br /> Office. The estimated lease cost is cost of $200 per month for a sixty (60) month term. <br /> Payments will commence after delivery of equipment. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The lease for the existing copier has expired last fiscal year. It's currently producing poor copies and the <br /> document feeder, on occasion pulls multiple pages and results in incorrectly sequenced pages. <br /> The estimated FY 2014-2015 payments are currently budgeted in our FY 2014-2015 operating budget. <br /> Lease payments for subsequent years will be budgeted accordingly.
