Contract Services <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Council Member Valerie Poindexter is proposing to transfer $610 out of the Council Services - Contingency <br /> Relief Account to the Department of Environmental Management, Transfer to Solid Waste Fund. The <br /> discretionary funds from District 1 will be used to provide a grant to the Ka Hale 0 Na Keiki Preschool to be <br /> used for a reduce, reuse, recycle project. <br /> Council action is requested to amend the Solid Waste Fund budget by increasing revenues and <br /> appropriating funds to the miscellaneous contracts account. <br /> We request that this bill be handled as a companion bill to Council Member Poindexter's Resolution to <br /> transfer the funds out of the Council Services - Contingency Relief Account and that it be agendized <br /> accordingly. <br /> SIGNED: („Q(� k DATE: 09/09/14 <br /> Department Head <br />
