BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service has approved the Federal funded grant for the <br /> purchase of firefighting supplies and firefighter personal protective equipment for a total of$100,000.00. The <br /> grant will enable the Fire Department's Fire Protection Bureau to purchase supplies and personal protective <br /> equipment that are not funded in its current operating budget.
