7i <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> art oF•N►•.P_. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 551 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY <br /> TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE GIRLS EXPLORING MATH AND <br /> SCIENCE PROGRAM. <br /> WHEREAS, Girls Exploring Math and Science (GEMS) is a project of the American <br /> Association of University Women (AAUW), Kona Branch, which is scheduled for <br /> November 20, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, GEMS is an annual math, science and technology exploration day with hands-on <br /> activities for fifth grade girls throughout West Hawai`i who are introduced to women within their <br /> community and are encouraged to learn about the various careers in relation to math and science; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the <br /> Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to provide financial assistance for GEMS program; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $4,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $4,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.271.5271.02 Office of the Prosecuting Atty $4,000 <br /> Procesuting Atty OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
