In doing so I hop o help clarify the reasons we are submitting for the <br /> variance. <br /> 1. The county allows onl )ne sign per business or per street frontage.The <br /> brand approved design r quires 3 signs total,two of which face Sarona Road. <br /> 2. The county allows walls signo be a maximum of 12 square feet.The brand <br /> approved signs are as follows:Vstri #1 = 43 square feet, sign #2 = 32 square <br /> feet,sign #3 = 18 square feet. <br /> 3. The county allows lettering and symOs to be a maximum height of 9 inches <br /> The monogram for all three of our sign ..xceeds this,as does the letters at <br /> our sign #1,as required by the brand ap• ved design. <br /> Intercontinental Hotel Groups (1HG),the franchise .ch represents the Holiday Inn <br /> Express brand,has very specific standards which we t meet in order to operate <br /> under the Holiday Inn Express flag.Among these standa are criteria that relate to <br /> the size and configuration of exterior signs.
