COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO, <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />581 14 <br />A RESOLUTION TO AMEND SALARY ORDINANCE NO. 14-84 BY AMENDING <br />SECTION 7.01(a), 7.02(b), 7.03, 7.04, 7.05, 7.06 AND 7.07 BY INCREASING THE <br />AFFECTED PAY GRADES FOR THE MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE EFFECTIVE <br />JANUARY 1, 2015. <br />WHEREAS, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for interim amendments to <br />the Salary Ordinance to be made by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 7.00 of Salary Ordinance No. 14-84 lists the classes of work and <br />compensation for persons employed by the County other than those whose pay is otherwise <br />provided for; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 7.01(a), 7.02(b), 7.03, 7.04, 7.05, 7.06, and 7.07 of Salary <br />Ordinance No. 14-84 lists the salaries of pay grades in the Office of the County Clerk, Office of <br />Housing and Community Development, Department of Public Works, Department of <br />Environmental Management, Department of Parks and Recreation, Department of Human <br />Resources, and Department of Water Supply; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Wage and Hour Law mandates the minimum wage increase <br />from $7.25 per hour to $7.75 per hour effective January 1, 2015; and now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I that <br />Section 7.00, 7.01(a), 7.02(b), 7.03, 7.04, 7.05, 7.06 AND 7.07 of Salary Ordinance No. 14-84 <br />be amended as follows: <br />"SECTION 7.00.
