BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Maui, Department of Fire and Public Safety has approved a donation to the County of Hawai'i <br /> one (1) 3,000 gallon tanker---a 2006 Peterbilt E-One tanker---previously used by the County of Maui as a <br /> relief tanker. <br /> Attached are copies of the letter from the Fire Chief of the County Maui and the Memorandum of Agreement <br /> to execute the transfer to the County of Hawai'i. <br /> The veh;cie will be assigned as part of the apparatus fleet for the reactivation of Station 10A - Pahoa Fire <br /> Station Annex (the old station). <br /> SIGNED: �` _ __ DATE: OCT 17 2014 <br /> 4- Department Head <br />
