JMtY Os Ny.,,.,,. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 583 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND <br /> FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> MANAGEMENT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO COOPER CENTER COUNCIL FOR THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF WATER TANK AND STORAGE SHED AT THE VOLCANO <br /> TRANSFER STATION. <br /> WHEREAS, the Volcano community is desirous of obtaining a 10,000 gallon water tank to <br /> support coqui frog eradication and as back-up water tank for the Volunteer Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Volcano community is desirous of obtaining a shed in which to store <br /> eradication equipment and citric acid for coqui frog eradication; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Cooper Center Council, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, will volunteer to construct a <br /> water tank and a storage shed; and <br /> WHERAS,pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawai`i County Code, Contingency <br /> Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting county department/agency via resolution <br /> identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, activity, service, <br /> equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Environmental Management to provide a grant to Cooper Center Council for <br /> the construction of water tank and storage shed at the Volcano Transfer Station; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: GENERAL <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br />
