..�JMtV OF ,' <br /> y ' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII �''"-'''/ <br /> STATE OF HAWAII <br /> 'FTC oF•Mp`P <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 586 14 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO FRIENDS OF THE <br /> CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER OF EAST HAWAII FOR SUPPLIES. <br /> WHEREAS, Friends of the Children's Justice Center of East Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) <br /> nonprofit organization that assists the Children's Justice Center of East Hawai`i to provide basic <br /> needs for abused and neglected children in East Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Children's Justice Center of East Hawai`i is in need of additional <br /> supplies to continue to meet the basic needs of its clientele; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney supports the programs and goals of the <br /> Children's Justice Center of East Hawai`i; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawaii County Code, <br /> Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br /> resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br /> activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to <br /> the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney to provide a grant to Friends of the Children's Justice <br /> Center of East Hawai`i to purchase supplies for the Children's Justice Center of East Hawai`i; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />
