No.566-14 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Hilo, Hawaii <br />IIMF: 2:55 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />I lawai'i County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Resolution <br />No. 566-14 reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 566-14, transmitted by Councilmember Brenda Ford, via Communication No. <br />1109, dated October 20, 2014, urges the Department of Parks and Recreation of the Comity of <br />I lawari to create a plaque for the new gymnasium and shelters honoring representative Robert <br />"Bob" N. Herkes and principal Laurence J. Capellas, Sr. <br />Ms. Ford explained that the purpose of this resolution is to ask the Department of Parks and <br />Recreation to put up the signage and have two plaques explaining why each of the honorees <br />should be honored in the joint naming of the facilities.
