JNty os Nom' <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />r tE OF�N►•'�' <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />1S 14 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING /APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR A STEALTHSTAT TRAFFIC SURVEY <br />DEVICE. <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Police Department uses StealthStat, a pole- mounted radar <br />device and computer that collects anonymous data for the purpose of monitoring traffic on a <br />given street over the course of several days; and <br />WHEREAS, StealthStat is an efficient and effective way for the Police Department to <br />conduct traffic surveys to determine where traffic enforcement operations or traffic calming <br />devices are merited; and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department needs an additional StealthStat device to conduct <br />traffic surveys in Area I, especially in the Puna District; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br />the Police Department for a StealthStat; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred /appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: GENERAL <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,367.29 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk- Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.201.5203.20 Police Department <br />Police Adm Div -Equip <br />480 Misc.
