COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19 14 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING /APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO "STEALTH STAT <br />SELF - RADARS" FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the enforcement of speed limits is critical to maintaining safe roads within <br />Hawaii County; and <br />WHEREAS, undetected vehicular speeding threatens the safety of residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department utilizes various tools to help identify vehicular speed <br />limit violations; and <br />WHEREAS, the "Stealth Stat Self - Radar" has proven to be an effective device to the <br />Police Department in its efforts to enforce speed limits; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to <br />the Police Department for the purchase of two "Stealth Stat Self- Radars "; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred /appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: GENERAL <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $6,452.05 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk- Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.201.5203.20 Police Department <br />Police Adm Div -Equip <br />480 Misc.
