No. 937/Bill No. 266 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:15 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Bill No. 266, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 266 amends Chapter 23, Article 4, Section 23-58 and Article 5, Section 23-68 of the <br /> Hawai`i County Code (2005 Edition, as amended), relating to submission of the preliminary plat <br /> and final plat for an application for subdivision. <br /> The bill was introduced by Karen Eoff to your Committee on July 17, 2014, at which time it was <br /> referred to the Windward Planning Commission and the Leeward Planning Commission; it <br /> received a positive recommendation from the Windward Planning Commission on October 2, <br /> 2014; and received a positive recommendation from the Leeward Planning Commission on <br /> October 16, 2014. <br /> This bill requires the subdivider to submit with the written application for a subdivision a <br /> preliminary plat and a final plat that is prepared, stamped and signed by a surveyor; and <br /> increases from 8 to 10 the minimum number of copies required for submittal. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 266 and <br /> recommends passage on first reading. <br /> ps <br /> AYES NOES ABS EX Respectfully submitted, <br /> CHUNG X <br /> DAVID x COMMITTEE ON PLANNING <br /> EOFF X <br /> ILAGAN X <br /> KANUHA X <br /> ONISHI X <br /> PALEKA x G"4 GGO' AGAN, C AIR <br /> POINDEXTER X PC REPORT NO. 1 <br /> WILLE X ADOPTED: JAN 2 3 2015 <br />
