COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL No. 310 ORDINANCE NO. 15 8 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 6, SECTION 24- 288.1, SCHEDULE 36.1 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO ACTIVE LOADING AND UNLOADING ZONES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`L• SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed based on a request to lengthen the subject active loading and unloading zone in an effort to provide more space for loading activities in this heavily used part of downtown Hilo. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24- 288.1, schedule 36.1. Active loading and unloading zones, paragraph (c), South Hilo, is amended by revising the following existing item to read: "(4) Punahoa Street, northeast tmakai) side, from a point fifteen feet northwest of Mamo Street [ and extendin ninety inety feet in the [mac} northwesterly direction. SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
