J+t-4 Of M, <br />��Jiyf <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 47 1..3- <br />A <br />� <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO BIG ISLAND WAVE <br />RIDERS AGAINST DRUGS FOR THE 2015 WEST HAWAI`I'S COMMUNITY BEACH <br />CLEAN-UP. <br />WHEREAS, West Hawai`i's Community Beach Clean -Up is scheduled for March 7, <br />2015, and involves a clean-up of West Hawaii beaches from `Anaeho`omalu Bay to Honaunau; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Big Island Wave Riders Against Drugs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit <br />organization that coordinates the West Hawai`i's Community Beach Clean -Up, which promotes <br />unity and raises community awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness at our <br />beaches; and <br />WHEREAS, Big Island Wave Riders Against Drugs needs funds to pay for activities, <br />advertising, transportation, and other expenses associated with this event; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawaii County Code, <br />Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br />resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br />activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Big Island Wave Riders Against Drugs <br />for expenses associated with the 2015 West Hawai`i's Community Beach Clean -Up; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />
