COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />s is <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE WEST HAWAII <br />COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, INC., TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, <br />AND FURNISHINGS FOR THE KEALAKEHE CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, West Hawaii Community Health Center, Inc., (WHCHC) is a 501(c)(3) <br />nonprofit organization that is committed to providing comprehensive and integrated health <br />services that is geographically and financially accessible to the residents of West Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, WHCHC needs funds to purchase equipment, supplies, and furnishings for <br />the Kealakehe Center; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawaii County Code, <br />Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br />resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br />activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Research and Development to provide a grant to WHCHC to purchase <br />equipment, supplies, and furnishings for the Kealakehe Center; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $15,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $15,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.161.5162.98 Department of Research and Development $15,000 <br />HI Cty. Resource Center <br />115 Misc. Contract Services <br />(West HI Comm. Health Center, Inc.) <br />
