COUNTY OF HAWAII ., STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 2 <br />(DRAFT 2) <br />ORDINANCE NO. 15 21 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE, 10, DIVISION 1, SECTION <br />24-255, SCHEDULE 3 OF THE HAWAUI COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS <br />AMENDED), RELATING TO 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI: <br />SECTION 1. This amendment is being proposed as put of a request to review and <br />possibly increase the speed limit along a portion of Wright Road. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division I, section 24-255, schedule I. <br />25 mile per hour limit, paragraph (g) Puma is amended by revising existing item (30) to read as <br />fol lows: <br />"(30) Wright Road, [in Volcano Village.] from its southeastern terminus to Olomea Road." <br />SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division I, section 24-255, schedule 3. 25 mile per hour <br />limit, paragraph (g) Puna is amended by adding the following new items and renumbering as required: <br />"( ) Amaumau Road." <br />"( ) Mahi`ai Road from its northeastern terminus to Amaumau Road." <br />"( ) Wright Road, from a point six thousand six hundred eighty-five feet northwest of <br />Olomea road to its northwestern terminus." <br />SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br />underscored. In printing this ordinance⢠the brackets, bracketed and stricken material and <br />underscoring need not be included. <br />
