i <br />Project Number 13 -WF -07 <br />C O N T R A C T <br />THIS CONTRACT, executed on the respective dates <br />indicated below, is effective as of February 1, 2015 by and <br />between the Department of the Attorney General, State of Hawaii, <br />hereinafter called "Agency," by and through the Attorney <br />General, and the Hawai'i Police Department, County of Hawai'i <br />, whose business address is 349 Kapiolani Street, Hilo, Hawaii <br />96720 , hereinafter called ".Grantee." <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, Title IV of the Violent Crime Control and Law <br />Enforcement Act of 1994, 42 U. S. C. 3796 et seq., as amended <br />(hereinafter "Act"), was enacted to make grants to states for <br />developing and strengthening effective law enforcement and <br />prosecutorial strategies and victim services in cases involving <br />crimes against women.
