BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />This appropriation reflects anticipated HOME funding from HUD for the PY2015 HOME program and <br />program income received or anticipated to be received by the OHCD. These funds will be utilized to <br />expand the supply of decent and affordable housing for low and very low income persons, enable <br />local design and strategies for developing housing and develop public/private/non-profit <br />partnerships. All of these projects will benefit persons of low and moderate income throughout the <br />island of Hawaii. <br />The Action Plan is submitted to HUD annually and includes the actual projects and activities that <br />will be carried out with the County's 2015 HOME funds.
