The funds are needed due to increased construction costs from unforeseen <br /> circumstances such as the discovery of unsuitable ground materials, found while <br /> performing clearing, grubbing and subgrade preparation work. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled"Kapi`olani Street Extension, <br /> Mohouli Street to Lanikaula Street" and to appropriate $500,000 to the Capital Budget <br /> for this project.
