Funds will be used to purchase <br /> equipment and supplies to support little fire ant control operations. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State <br /> of Hawai`i Department Agriculture to allow the County to receive funds for this program. <br /> Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating <br /> this $90,000 to the Department of Parks and Recreation's Little Fire Ant Control- <br /> Department of Agriculture account. <br /> The Department of Parks and Recreation requests that this bill and resolution be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee, and be placed on the July 24, 2015 Council Agenda.
