REQUEST: <br /> An ordinance amending Ordinance 15-58, the Capital Budget by adding an appropriation for: Land <br /> acquisitions to resolve an inadvertent approval by the Hawaii County Planning Department: $1,000,000 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION OUSE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED. <br /> The basis for the amendment is to resolve an inadvertent approval by the Hawaii County Planning <br /> Department for a two (2) lot consolidation and subdivision application of a property located within the State <br /> Land Use ("SLU") Conservation District without first obtaining authorization from the Department of Land and <br /> Natural Resources ("DLNR"). <br /> Pursuant to Chapter 183C of the Hawaii Revised Statutes and the related administrative rules, the <br /> consolidation and resubdivision of property located within the SLU Conservation District requires a <br /> Conservation District Use Permit ("CDUP") issued by DLNR.
