The property is part of the Nani Mau Gardens complex,bounded by <br /> Railroad Avenue, Makalika Street and Awa Street within the Pana`ewa Farm Lots Subdivision, <br /> Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission concurs with the following Planning Director's reasons for recommending <br /> favorable consideration of the request: <br /> The applicant is requesting to amend Condition B of Change of Zone Ordinance <br /> No. 08-72, which states: <br /> "Plans for the proposed subdivision shall be submitted to the Planning <br /> Department and Final Subdivision Approval secured within five(5) years from <br /> the effective date of this amendment.
