COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> BILL NO. 317 <br /> (Draft 2) <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 98 134 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-288, schedule 36 (Freight <br /> loading zones), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is <br /> amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: <br /> Kalakaua Street Puna side from a point two hundred sixty-two feet mauka of the <br /> Kamehameha Avenue parking lot and extending twenty feet in the mauka <br /> direction. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-288, schedule 36 (Freight <br /> loading zones), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is <br /> further amended by deleting the following item: <br /> [(4) Kalakaua Street, Puueo side, mauka of unnamed private lane between First Hawaiian <br /> Bank and Hawaii National Bank, twenty feet.] <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In <br /> printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> SECTION 5.
