COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 317 ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-288, schedule 36 (Freight loading zones), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: L) Kalakaua Street- Puna side- from a point two hundred sixty�� feet mauka of the Kamehameha Avenue parking lot and extending tw= feet in the mauka direction. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-288, schedule 36 (Freight loading zones), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition), is further amended by deleting the following item: [(4) Kalakaua Street, Puueo side, mauka of unnamed private lane between First Hawaiian Bank and Hawaii National Bank, twenty feet.] SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION S. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
