Kenoi dated October 2, 2015, nominates <br /> Kristen L. "Lehua" Dirks Ah Sam to the North Kohala Community Development Plan Action <br /> Committee for a four-year term. <br /> Ms. Dirks Ah Sam was introduced by Charmaine Shigemura, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kenoi, and <br /> appeared by videoconference from North Kohala. Council Member Wille expressed support for the <br /> nomination and urged her colleagues' support. Ms. Dirks Ah Sam expressed appreciation for the <br /> nomination. <br /> Ms. Dirks Ah Sam was informed that she is not required to be present for Council confirmation. <br /> Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 512, and <br /> recommends confirmation of the appointment of Kristen L.
