COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 1.07 <br />ORDINANCE NO. i S, J-12 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, OF THE <br />HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br />PARKING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this amendment is based on concerns that vehicles are <br />parking in this heavily used beach area in places too narrow for parking. Approval of these <br />amendments would allow for the appropriate no parking signs to be installed and for proper <br />police enforcement to be done. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, Section 24-280, Schedule 28, No <br />parking at anytime, subsection (f), Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as <br />amended) is amended by adding new items and renumbering as required, as follows: <br />( ) Manini Beach Road north (makai) side from Pu`uhonua Road and <br />extending eight hundred fifty-five feet in the southwesterly <br />direction_ <br />( ) Manini Beach Road west (makai) side from a point one thousand <br />feet south of Pu`uhonua Road and extending one hundred twenty- <br />five feet in the southerly direction. <br />�) Manini Beach Road west (makai) side from a point one thousand <br />one hundred fifty feet south of Pu`uhonua Road and extending fifty <br />feet in the southerly direction. <br />( ) Manini Beach Road west (makai) side, from a point one thousand <br />two hundred forty feet south of Pu`uhonua Road to Kahauloa Road. <br />( ) Manini Beach Road south (mauka) side from Pu`uhonua Road and <br />extending nine hundred five feet in the southwesterly direction. <br />( ) Manini Beach Road east (mauka) side from a point nine hundred <br />seventy feet south of Pu`uhonua Road to Kahauloa Road. <br />( ) Kahauloa Street, north (makai) side. <br />
