PC -20 <br />ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS <br />BILLS FOR ORDINANCES <br />February 2, 2016 <br />Bill 116: AMENDS CHAPTER 25, ARTICLE 1, ARTICLE 2, AND ARTICLE 4 OF THE <br />HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br />AGRICULTURAL TOURISM <br />The bill would amend Sections 25-1-5(b), Definitions; 25-2-71(g), Applicability; and <br />25-2-75, Plan approval application requirements; as they pertain to Agricultural <br />Tourism. Also would amend Section 25-4-15, Agricultural Tourism, to add and amend <br />definitions and types of use for "major" and "minor" agricultural tourism activities; and <br />sets forth specific regulations for each. <br />Reference: Comm. 554 <br />Intr. by: Ms. Wille <br />Postponed: November 17 and December 1, 2015, <br />and January 5, 2016. <br />; and <br />Comm. 554.5: From Council Member Margaret Wille, dated December 17, 2015, transmitting <br />proposed amendments to Bill 116. <br />(Note: There is a motion by Ms. Wille seconded by Mr. Paleka to refer Bill 116 to <br />the Planning Director and Planning Commissions, pursuant to Section 25-2-43(b), <br />Hawaii County Code; and a motion by Ms. Wille seconded by Mr. Kanuha to <br />amend Bill 116 with the contents of Comm. 554.5.) <br />Bill 129: AMENDS SECTION 25-8-33 (CITY OF HILO ZONE MAP), ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER <br />25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION), BY <br />CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM AGRICULTURAL — THREE <br />ACRES (A -3a) TO RESIDENTIAL AND AGRICULTURAL — ONE ACRE (RA -la) AT <br />PANA`EWA HOUSE LOTS, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP <br />KEY: 2-2-052:027 <br />(Applicant: Brad McClary) (Area: 2.73 acres) <br />The Windward Planning Commission forwards its favorable recommendation for this <br />change of zone, which would allow the applicant to apply for the subdivision of the <br />property into two lots.
