REQUEST: <br /> We request to amend Ordinance 15-57, the Operating Budget to increase the Budget in the Housing Fund <br /> as follows: <br /> 152.3609.11 Transfer from General Fund $10,000 <br /> 152.461.5466.51 Mental Health Kokua $10,000 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Concurrent resolution is in process to request funding from Clerk Council Services-Contingency Relief funds <br /> from Council District 7 to the Office of Housing and Community Development to provide a pass-through grant <br /> to Mental Health Kokua. These funds would be used to create a housing placement assistance for homeless <br /> adults with mental illness. <br /> We are requesting these funds to be appropriated in the Housing Fund. <br /> Since there is a concurrent resolution to request funding transfer to the Office of Housing Fund, the OHCD <br /> would like to request a waiver from the Finance Committee and have this bill heard at the Council Meeting <br /> scheduled for March 2, 2016. <br /> SIGNED: 4114 DATE: 9 <br /> De :rtment Head <br />
