�Gliyi <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - 41 ;• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 44'"'i 16 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR TREES AND BENCHES ALONG ANE <br /> KEOHOKALOLE HIGHWAY. <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawai`i recognizes that improvements to walking and biking <br /> infrastructure contributes to the health, safety, transportation options, and quality of life for <br /> Hawaii Island residents and visitors; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works seeks a funding source to pay for trees and <br /> benches along Ane Keohokalole Highway to integrate and accommodate bicycle and pedestrian <br /> modes of travel as described in the Goals of the Department of Public Works, and as provided <br /> for in Section 13.4.3 of the Hawai`i County General Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Public Works to pay for trees and benches along Ane Keohokalole Highway; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $10,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.173.5173.02 Department of Public Works $10,000 <br /> Public Works Admin OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
