Public Access: There is no public access to the mountain or shoreline that traverses <br /> through the subject property. <br /> 27. Traffic: According to the applicant, no traffic study was prepared for the subject <br /> application. The existing flower packing facility has been in operation for over 20 years <br /> with no definite time table for a change in use. Currently, there are 24 employees who <br /> make one round trip per day, six days per week(Sunday through Friday). The business <br /> utilizes delivery trucks that make 4-5 trips per day, six days a week. In addition, growers <br /> drop off goods approximately 4-5 times per day. On a daily basis, the current business <br /> generates approximately 35 round trips per day. <br /> PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> 28. Access: Access to the project site is from Milo Street, which is an existing <br /> approximately 22-foot wide paved roadway. According to the Department of Public <br /> Works (DPW), this portion of Milo Street is privately owned (TMK: 1-6-152: 019). This <br /> area of Milo Street has a right-of-way width of 40 feet. The DPW recommends <br /> improvements to the property's Milo Street frontage consisting of,but not limited to, <br /> pavement widening with concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, drainage improvements and <br /> any required utility relocation meeting the requirements of the Americans with <br /> Disabilities Act. The improvements will be required to be located within any future road <br /> widening setback as may be established by the Planning Department. <br /> 29. Water: According to the Department of Water Supply, there is an existing 1-inch meter <br /> serving the subject parcel that has averaged approximately 2,170 gallons per day(GPD) <br /> over the past two (2) years. This equates to approximately six (6)units of water at 400 <br /> gallons per day per unit, which is three(3)times the average daily usage that was allotted <br /> to the parcel. According to the applicant, there is an existing 8-inch waterline along Milo <br /> Street. <br /> 30. Wastewater: There is no municipal sewer system in the area. There is an existing septic <br /> system for wastewater, which was approved by the Department of Health in 2005. <br /> 31. Solid Waste: Solid waste will be disposed of at authorized County landfills or transfer <br /> stations by commercial haulers. <br /> -5- <br />
