rJ,ZY .. . ... <br /> OiM � <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -•-_R l�*-5 �•- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 453 16 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO KEA'AU COUGARS <br /> ATHLETIC BOOSTERS FOR KEA'AU HIGH SCHOOL PROJECT GRAD NIGHT. <br /> WHEREAS, Kea'au Cougars Athletic Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that <br /> supports the student-athletes of Kea'au High School; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kea'au Cougars Athletic Boosters is assisting with the annual Project Grad <br /> Night, a fun and safe event that immediately follows commencement exercises for Kea'au High <br /> School's Class of 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kea'au Cougars Athletic Boosters requests funds to assist it in providing a <br /> safe, enjoyable, alcohol-free and drug-free event for the Kea'au High School Class of 2016; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control supports youth programs that promote <br /> alcohol- and drug-free events, including Project Grad Night activities; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawai`i County Code, <br /> Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br /> resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br /> activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Kea'au Cougars Athletic Boosters for <br /> Kea'au High School Project Grad Night; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />
