+��-'�'�=J+tv,oF p� <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII '''�'' <br /> STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 460 16 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO HUI `AUMAKUA <br /> SPORTS, INC. TO ASSIST WITH TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR PLAYERS AND <br /> COACHES. <br /> WHEREAS, Hui 'Aumakua Sports, Inc. (Hui `Aumakua) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit <br /> organization that provides youth from the ages of 4 to 14 years the opportunity to participate in <br /> baseball and other amateur sports with the support of coaches, volunteers, and `ohana; and <br /> WHEREAS, 11 players and 5 coaches of Hui `Aumakua, member of the Hilo PONY <br /> League, will be traveling to Maui in May 2016, and to Kaua`i in July 2016 to participate in <br /> tournaments; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hui `Aumakua is requesting funding assistance to defray the cost of airfare, <br /> boarding, and ground transportation; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawai`i County Code, <br /> Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br /> resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, <br /> activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and <br /> WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to <br /> the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide a grant to Hui `Aumakua for interisland <br /> travel expenses for players and coaches; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />
