.4„-,,-,,OF.................. d �, COUNTY OF HAWAII :-_ -r STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 480 16 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO ORCHIDLAND NEIGHBORS IN SUPPORT OF A COMMUNITY CENTER IN ORCHIDLAND. WHEREAS, Orchidland Neighbors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose vision is to create a multi-purpose facility to house and develop community capacity through recreational, educational, and agricultural opportunities for Orchidland and surrounding communities; and WHEREAS, Orchidland Neighbors is seeking funds to assist with the planning and permits that would be required for construction of a community center with a classroom and a picnic area with space for barbecues; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawai`i County Code, Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the Office of Housing and Community Development to provide a grant to Orchidland Neighbors to assist with planning and permitting for a community center in Orchidland; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $2,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 CREDITED TO: 010.801.5801.32 Office of Housing and Community Development $2,000 Trans to Housing Fund 341 Misc. Charges (Orchidland Neighbors—Community Center)
