No. 766 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers, Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:15 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Agriculture, Water and Energy Sustainability, to which was referred <br /> Communication 766, reports as follows: <br /> Communication 766, transmitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated March 7, 2016, nominates <br /> Jonathan P. Bartsch of Council District 9 to the County of Hawai`i Game Management Advisory <br /> Commission. Mr. Bartsch is a 36 year resident of Hawai`i and is a Police Officer with the <br /> Hawai`i County Police Department. Mr. Bartsch states that he is not affiliated with any political <br /> party. <br /> Mr. Bartsch was confirmed to the commission in May, 2015, to serve the remainder of a term <br /> that ended on December 31, 2015. If confirmed, Mr. Bartsch will serve a full term to end on <br /> December 31, 2020. <br /> Deputy Managing Director Bobby Command introduced Mr. Bartsch, who was not present due <br /> to being on vacation. His attendance is not required for the full Council confirmation. <br /> Your Committee on Agriculture, Water and Energy Sustainability is in accord with the purpose <br /> and intent of Communication 766 and recommends confirmation of the appointment of <br /> Jonathan P.
