4. Current Land Uses- Properties in the Kauakea Subdivision are primarily being used <br /> for residential purposes and to pasture livestock, according to Real Property Tax <br /> Office records. Ordinance No. 889-Ord. For example, Condition C defines"agriculture"as <br /> only the cultivation of crops, game propagation and the raising of livestock. These <br /> land uses are just 3 of the 15 land uses that are permitted by State law(HRS 205-2)in <br /> the State Land Use Agricultural district and the 25 land uses that are permitted by the <br /> County zoning code in the Agricultural zoning district. Some of the uses that the <br /> ordinance restricts from occurring on the subject properties are: agricultural uses and <br /> services that support the agricultural activities,on the property such as agricultural <br /> storage and processing facilities; farm vehicle and equipment storage areas; <br /> agricultural tourism; agricultural-based commercial operations such as a roadside <br /> -2- <br />
