REQUEST: <br /> Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the Director of Finance to enter into a 10 year lease with one <br /> (1) 10 year option to lease approximately 441 acres, plus or minus, delineated in red as Exhibit "A" at <br /> Kapulena Agricultural Park, further identified by the following Tax Map Key Numbers: a portion of (3) 4-7- <br /> 006:001 and (3) 4-7-006:018. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> Hamakua County Farm Bureau (hereinafter "HCFB"), a non-profit subordinate organization of Hawaii Farm <br /> Bureau Federation desires to lease the aforementioned properties for the purposes of pasture development, <br /> livestock grazing, silviculture and other related activities.
