The applicant, Hualalai Health, LLC proposes a senior housing project on property identifies as TMK (3) 7-5-010:061 in Kailua Kona, Hawai'i County Hawaii pursuant to Section 201H-38 HRS. The proposed Hualalai Kai Project will consist of 169 rentable units including 80 skilled nursing units, 39 Assisted Living units, 15 Memory Care units, and 35 multi -family units located in 2 three-story, 18plexes. The project is located on approximately 9.26 acres. Copies of the project's preliminary HRS Section 201 H-38 application were distributed to various State and County agencies for review and comment prior to the HRS Section 201 H-38 application being finalized. The proposed project will provide much needed affordable senior housing units for the residents of West Hawai'i. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
