The purpose of this amendment is to update accessible parking requirements in favor of compliance with applicable Federal and State requirements applicable to parking for persons with disabilities. The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council on the request. The draft bill is attached for your favorable consideration. We have also enclosed a copy of the Planning Director's Background and Recommendation and a draft transcript of the hearing for your information.
