No. 1074 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:20 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 1074, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 1074, transmitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi dated September 14, 2016, <br /> nominates Mr. Mitchell Tam, of Council District 7 to the Hawai`i County Merit Appeals Board. <br /> Mr. Tam was introduced by T. Ilihia Gionson, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kenoi, and requested <br /> Council's favorable action of this appointment. Mr. Gionson stated that if Mr. Tam is confirmed, he <br /> would fill a vacant term that will expire on December 31, 2019, and that he is not affiliated with any <br /> political party. <br /> Nominee Tam was present at the Kona Council Office and expressed that it would be an honor to serve <br /> on the Merit Appeals Board.
