Shipman, Ltd. and the Shipman 'Ohana in support of <br /> Na Hoa 0 Puna Soccer's request that the soccer fields at Shipman Park in Keaau be <br /> named in honor of Justin"Buddy"Perry. <br /> In his short life of 38 years, Buddy Perry had a tremendous impact on the people of the <br /> Big Island and especially the youth of Puna. His work with the Natural Resources <br /> Conservation Service was an incredible blessing for this island, and will have long lasting <br /> impacts on our farming and ranching communities. As a volunteer coach for AYSO and <br /> founder of Na Hoa 0 Puna Soccer club,Coach Buddy gave countless children a love for <br /> the sport and a wonderful example of how to live life to the fullest even in the face of <br /> great challenges. He knew every one of his players by name,and was at the Shipman <br /> Park soccer fields supporting them in their annual tournament only a short week before <br /> he passed away. <br /> Justin "Buddy" Perry was truly an individual who left behind a wonderful legacy for the <br /> people of Havaii.
