No. 668-16 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 2:15 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred <br /> Resolution No. 668-16, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 668-16, transmitted by Council Member Greggor Ilagan, via Communication <br /> No. 1088 dated September 30, 2016, initiates the process of renaming Ma`ili Street in Leilani <br /> Estates to "Maile Street." <br /> The resolution directs the Planning Director to initiate the process of renaming Ma`ili Street in <br /> Leilani Estates to "Maile Street" following enactment of the ordinance proposed in Bill No. 234. <br /> Council Member Ilagan, who spoke in support of Resolution No. 668-16, stated that the original <br /> name of the street was "Maile Street."
