JM�v eF M <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII _• STATE OF HAWAII <br />,rt OFNF' <br />RESOLUTION NO. 39 1-7 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE BIG ISLAND <br />SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNCIL TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES FOR ITS 2017 KONA <br />SPLASH BASH. <br />WHEREAS, the Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit <br />organization comprised of individuals and groups from public and private sectors that are <br />concerned with substance abuse and addiction, and are dedicated to inspiring individuals to <br />reclaim and enrich their lives by utilizing resources and harnessing their strengths; and <br />WHEREAS, BISAC is requesting assistance to help pay for food, games, and related <br />expenses for its 2017 Kona Splash Bash, a free family event, which will include various <br />community organizations assembling to promote health, wellness, and anti-drug use; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawaii County Code, <br />Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via <br />resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event, activity, <br />service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Office of the <br />Prosecuting Attorney to provide a grant to the Big Island Substance Abuse Council to assist with <br />expenses for its 2017 Kona Splash Bash. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.271.5271.02 Office of the Prosecuting Attorney <br />Prosecuting Attorney OCE <br />115 Misc.
