No. 37 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 12:12 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Communication No. 37, reports as follows: <br /> Communication No. 37, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim dated December 14, 2016, nominates <br /> Ms. Mae Satsuko Ikeda of Council District 4 to the Hawai`i County Pension Board. <br /> Ms. Ikeda was introduced by Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, and requested <br /> Council's favorable action of this appointment. Ms. Bautista stated that if Ms. Ikeda is <br /> confirmed, she will fill a term that will expire December 31, 2021, and that she is not affiliated <br /> with any political party. <br /> Nominee Ikeda was present and expressed that it would be an honor to serve on the Pension <br /> Board.
