40.x` . /�„ ,' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -•i.4\-' /I•- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 73 1-7 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE OUTSTANDING OLDER AMERICANS <br /> AWARD LUNCHEON. <br /> WHEREAS, each year, starting with President John F. Kennedy, the U.S. president <br /> issues a proclamation designating May as Older Americans Month and asking the nation to <br /> honor the older Americans that serve their communities; and <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the Older Americans Month, the Hawai`i County Office of Aging <br /> sponsors an annual Outstanding Older Americans Award Luncheon that honors our kupuna for <br /> their volunteerism and selfless service to their respective communities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Aging is requesting funds for activities, advertising, and other <br /> expenses associated with the Outstanding Older Americans Award Luncheon; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Office of Aging for <br /> expenses related to the Outstanding Older Americans Award Luncheon. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.411.5411.02 Office of Aging $2,000 <br /> Office of Aging OCE <br /> 341 Misc.
