No. 61-17 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:30 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Governmental Relations and Economic Development, to which was referred <br /> Resolution No. 61-17, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 61-17, transmitted by Council Member Sue Lee Loy, via Communication No. 88, <br /> dated January 20, 2017, urges the Hawaii State Legislature to approve funding to address the <br /> threat of the little fire ant (LFA). <br /> Ms. Lee Loy amended the resolution with Communication 88.1 which urges the Hawai`i State <br /> Legislature to approve Senate Bill No. 656 and House Bill No. 481 to address the threat of LFA. <br /> Ms. Lee Loy reported on the status of Senate Bill No. 656 and House Bill No. 481.
