COUNTY OF HAWAII ..1-(4‘1: .-'P.11;.: STATE OF HAWAII <br /> . �r�of•M,:P . <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 88 17 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION'S BASKETBALL WORKSHOP IN KONA. <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation and Hawai`i Island sports officials <br /> believe that children participating in organized sports tend to achieve higher results in school, <br /> develop excellent interpersonal skills, and lead healthier lives; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation provides educational sports <br /> workshops for athletes, parents, coaches, officials, and volunteers to give them the proper <br /> training techniques and tools to be successful; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for one of its <br /> workshops that will be held at the Kekuaokalani Gymnasium in Kona, which will focus on <br /> basketball officiating; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation for its basketball workshop in Kona. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $2,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,000 <br /> Recreation Div.
