T Jazvosq 414 , COUNTY OF HAWAII +�� I'r' •I STATE OF HAWAII OF.N••.N RESOLUTION NO. 127 17 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST WITH THE COUNTY'S 20 PERCENT COST-MATCH WITH THE STATE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF TWO VANS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, ELDERLY ACTIVITIES DIVISION IN EAST HAWAII. WHEREAS,the State of Hawai`i Department of Transportation is providing to the County of Hawai`i four 14-passenger vans,two of which will be based in East Hawai`i and two in West Hawai`i, with the County responsible for 20 percent of the cost of the vans; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Elderly Activities Division, will use the vans for its Coordinated Services for the Elderly program to provide transportation for senior citizens aged 60 years and older and those with disabilities,to expand services, and to supplement the current aging fleet of vehicles; and WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation requests funding assistance to cover the County's 20 percent cost for two vans for its Coordinated Services for the Elderly program in East Hawai`i; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to assist with the County's 20 percent cost-match with the State for the acquisition of two vans for the Elderly Activities Division in East Hawai`i. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $6,000 OUT AND FROM: 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $6,000 CREDITED TO: 010.481.5481.32 Department of Parks and Recreation $6,000 Coordinated Services County OCE 449 Motor Vehicles (14-Passenger Vans—East Hawai`i)
