We have been living in a short-sighted and non-sustainable way <br /> for too long. <br /> Unless we alter our lifestyles and consumption patterns we will face societal collapse due to resource limitation and <br /> pollution/climate change.We must adopt simpler and less resource-intensive ways of building homes and we must <br /> become compulsive recyclers, including recycling our wastes into fertilizers in order that we can feed ourselves <br /> indefinitely. We may need to become food self-reliant so we'd best prepare for that possibility.
